OUR LEGACY
Los Angeles Community Bible Church is a result of the merger of Los Angeles Bible Church and Community Bible Church on October 4, 1998.
Los Angeles Bible Church was originally called Graham Baptist. A member of the board of Los Angeles Bible Training School asked Graham Baptist to donate their facility to the school. They agreed with one stipulation, that they would send someone to teach the church. The school sent Pastor Floyd Johnson. Graham Baptist was later reorganized as Los Angels Bible Church.
Community Bible Church was founded on January 18, 1970. After being equipped at the Los Angeles Bible Training School, Pastor Lee Morgan realized the need for a Bible teaching Church in his community. Through his leadership and with the help of the IFCA International and the Los Angeles Bible Training School, God raised up a conservative Bible Church in the heart of the inner city Los Angeles.
